Carbon Drawdown Collective

HOW DO WE CREATE A WORK SPACE THAT BALANCES COLLABORATION AND FOCUS?
The new offices for Carbon Drawdown Collective are designed to be a vibrant venue for in person collaboration and focused work. Located in downtown Charlottesville, the office serves as the main hub for team members to convene for in person work on a weekly basis. The new space offers a flexible environment that can accommodate a range of working scenarios from large collaborative brainstorming sessions to individual focused work.
The new home for Carbon Drawdown Collective will be located in recently completed high rise in downtown Charlottesville. The program will consists of a mix of collaborative and private work spaces with a refined residential feel. The organization is on a mission to accelerate the critical expansion of climate positive technologies and innovations across a diverse mix of sectors and this new space will serve as the base of operations for this progressive organization.
The material palette takes on a Nordic feel through the careful use of Ash wood and soft warm tones in the furnishings. Technology for collaborative work is embedded into the architecture so it can be deployed when needed and hidden the rest of the time.
